Information we collect

When you contact us through our website, we collect the information you provide in the contact form: your first name, last name, email address and message.

Our website and contact form are provided through Squarespace. Squarespace may process technical information needed to operate, secure and maintain the website and contact form.

Please do not use the contact form to send health information, information about addiction or recovery, other sensitive personal information, or information about another person unless we have specifically asked you to do so through an appropriate process. The contact form is not an emergency or crisis service.

How and why we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, communicate with you about the matter you contacted us about, keep an appropriate record of our communication, and operate and protect our website and systems.

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, communicating with people who contact us, and running a secure and effective website. Where necessary, we may also process or share information to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

You are not under a legal or contractual obligation to provide information through the contact form. However, if you do not provide enough information for us to understand your enquiry or respond to you, we may not be able to help.

Who we share information with

Your information is available only to authorised members of the NOVEYA team who need it to respond to your enquiry.

We use trusted service providers to operate the website and contact form. These include Squarespace, which hosts the website and contact form, and the email service provider that delivers messages sent to office@noveya.co.uk.

We may also share information where required by law or where necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of NOVEYA or others.

International transfers

Squarespace may process personal information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Squarespace states that it uses appropriate safeguards for these transfers, including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where appropriate, contractual safeguards. How long we keep your information

We keep contact-form messages and the personal information within them for 12 months after the enquiry has been closed. We then securely delete or anonymise the information, unless we need to retain it for longer because of a legal obligation, a legal claim or another documented reason.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you have the right to ask for access to your personal information, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, ask us to erase your information, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and ask for a copy of information you provided to us in a portable format where that right applies.

Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions about you using solely automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Squarespace may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to operate and secure the website. NOVEYA does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google or Meta advertising pixels, a newsletter service, a chat service, online donations or online payments.

Before we introduce analytics, advertising or any other non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update our Cookie Policy and provide an appropriate consent option.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
